Belec Spektrometrie Opto-Elektronik (Germany) has two spectrometers for metal analysis available: a portable system and a laboratory based Optical Emission Spectrometer

Belec Spektrometrie Opto-Elektronik (Germany) has appointed Alrad Instruments as its UK distributor for its range of spectrometers for metal analysis Belec is Germany's leading manufacturer of Optical Emission Spectrometers for the metals industry

Belec produce two different Spectrometers.

The Compact Port is a portable laboratory for metal analysis.

The unit weights just 17kg, but it is an extremely powerful spectrometer.

The spectrometer can handle a wide range of different materials including Steel, Copper, Aluminium, Nickel, Titanium, Cobalt based alloys etc.

As well as analysing the normal metallic elements these tricky elements such as Carbon, Phosphorus and Sulphur can be determined down to trace levels.

The spectrometer is designed for portable use and can easily be transported from site to site so insitu analysis is a feature of the instrument.

The Compact Port can be used as a high accuracy analyser or a quick reference measuring instrument depending on the requirements of the user.

An argon purged probe enables users to measure those important elements such as carbon in steel.

An additional option is a probe that can analyse Phosphorus and Sulphur at low concentration levels.

Belec also offer the Vario lab Optical Emission Spectrometer.

This is designed solely for Laboratory use.

It has the capability of housing up to 3 spectrometers with 36 channels each in the same instrument.

It is ideal for laboratories with a high throughput and those working with different base materials.
