CMOS image sensors provide versatile solution
The DLIS-2K and 4K sensors consist of four independently selectable and resettable rows with 2080 or 4096 optical each and a high-resolution mode of 4160 or 8192 pixels, respectively.
The VFC-300 is a colour high-speed camera with 512 x 512 pixel that can be partially readout to achieve a frame rate maximum of 300 frames per second.
The camera has a 256Mbyte of memory allowing a recording time of 20s (200 x 200 pixel at 300frame/s).
The VFC-1000 is available with either colour or monochrome sensors.
The camera has a maximum resolution of 512 x 472 pixel that can be partially readout to achieve a frame rate of 8000 frame/s.
The standard camera allows 4s of video data to be stored.
Additional optional memory can be added to allow 8 or 16s recording time (based on over 250frame/s).
Both cameras can be externally triggered and have variable slow playback facilities.
