An Alrad Instruments product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Aug 11, 2006

CCD linescan camera is designed for demanding industrial applications and incorporates programmable inputs/outputs for trigger and strobe which are easily accessed.

Now you can develop linescan camera systems without the need of a frame grabber.

The new LW-PE-2048-1394 CCD linescan camera from Imaging Solutions Group offers a high resolution 2048 pixel linescan camera solution with a 40MHz pixel clock and 12bit resolution.

The camera is designed for demanding industrial applications and incorporates programmable inputs/outputs for trigger and strobe which are easily accessed.

An onboard FPGA can handle all control functionality including the integration of custom algorithms.

The output from the camera is via a FireWire IEEE1394 interface which means a frame grabber is no long required to transfer data from the camera to PC.
