The Foculus T series of FireWire output cameras features a very compact housing of just 29 x 29 x 39mm, matching the size of the smallest industrial analogue cameras.

New from Alrad Imaging, the Foculus T series of FireWire (IEEE1394a) output cameras features a very compact housing of just 29 x 29 x 39mm, matching the size of the smallest industrial analogue cameras.

The Foculus T series comes with a one-third-inch CCD image sensor, colour or monochrome, with a choice of resolutions: VGA models FO124TB/TC, and XGA models FO323TB/TC.

The small size offers a lot of advantages for applications where space is really limited.

The camera offers a host of benefits to customers with a large number of features including the use of high quality Sony sensors, auto white balance, high speed trigger capability, ROI, one shot or multishot, multiple camera auto sync, strobe output, adjustable shutter speed, pixel binning (B/W only) and RS232 controller.

Other benefits include a locking FW connector and a status LED.

A downloadable SDK is now also available free of charge.
