Alrad Instruments' CCD16000 uses a progressive scan interline transfer sensor which offers very short exposure times down to 1/7000 second.

Alrad Instruments has released the CCD16000, with 4896 x 3264 pixels giving ultra high resolution imaging.

The sensor size is 36mm x 24mm.

Frame rate at full resolution is two frames per second but it can also be partially scanned to give four frames per second at 4896 x 1632 pixels.

The camera uses a progressive scan interline transfer sensor which offers very short exposure times down to 1/7000 second.

Effective dynamic range is >= 1:1000 (>= 60dB).

The camera has a Digital RS-644 output with 12-bit (LVDS).

Monochrome or colour sensors with an RGB Bayer mosaic filter are available.
