An Alrad Instruments product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Sep 25, 2008

Alrad Imaging has introduced the VDS Vosskuhler NIR-300, an infrared camera with a spectral range of 0.9-1.7um.

This digital camera incorporates a 320x256 InGaas sensor with a 14bit readout at 50 frames/sec (or 100 frames/sec with the NIR-300F version of the camera).

The camera is available with either Camera Link or Gigabit Ethernet.

It can be delivered as an uncooled version or with a Peltier cooler, allowing longer exposure times.

Applications include near-infrared imaging, thermal imaging of hot objects (in a range of 150C to 800C), imaging spectroscopy, laser beam profiling, semiconductor inspection, water or moisture detection, medical science and biology and vision enhancement.
