Handy sachets avoid pH calibration headaches

An Amalgamated Instrument product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Oct 18, 2001

Amalgamated Instrument Co has pH calibration solutions available in convenient 25ml sachets guaranteed accurate to within 0.01pH (at 25C) and are certified traceable to NIST

You put in a new pH electrode and you go to calibrate it! The calibration solutions are out of date and they come in 1 litre bottles anyway! Now there is a better and more productive way to handle the calibration of pH electrodes.

Amalgamated Instrument Co has pH calibration solutions available in convenient 25ml sachets.

The solutions are available in three pH levels - 4.00, 7.00 and 10.00.

The solutions are guaranteed accurate to within 0.01pH (at 25C) and are certified traceable to NIST.

The use of these sachets guarantees a fresh solution and allows for quick waste and mess free calibrations.

The sachets can be easily taken into the field and minimise the risks of spillage and spoilage.

Each sachet has a pH/temperature variation table included to allow adjustment for calibration temperatures that differ from the standard.

The sachets are sold in boxes of 10 or 24 sachets of each individual pH or a user can buy a box of 10 mixed sachets (5 of pH 4.00 and 5 of pH 7.00).

These mixed boxes are exceptionally useful as the resources for a two point calibration are easily at hand.

AIC also includes a sachet of pH 4.00 and a sachet of pH 7.00 with each of their replaceable cartridge pH electrodes.

This allows the user to have their new electrodes up and calibrated very quickly.
