A new pressure transducer from Amalgamated Instrument Co has a range of 0 to 600 bar G and represents an economical sensor for high pressure applications

Amalgamated Instrument Co has just added another pressure transducer to its extensive M6420 50 Series range.

The new pressure transducer has a range of 0 to 600 bar G and represents an economical sensor for high pressure applications.

The sensor is based on a 4 arm strain element fused to a high purity alumina ceramic.

This offers superb resistance to corrosion while maintaining sensitivity and accuracy.

The transducer has a 4-20mA output which makes it compatible with a wide range of instrumentation.

Process fitting is by a 1/4" BSP male thread.

The transducer is supplied with an IP65 micro DIN40050 plug for electrical connection.

The transducer requires an operating voltage of between 10 to 32 VDC.

The low voltage requirement makes these transducers ideal for use in 12 VDC systems.

AIC offers a wide range of instrumentation for pressure and level applications using the analog output of these new sensors.

The instruments range from panel mount monitors to Large Digit display with digits up to a massive 200mm in height.

The addition of this 600 bar transducer means that units are available from 0-0.5 bar to 0-600 bar in a standard, economical range of transducers to meet most pressure or level monitoring applications.
