Cleaner is safe on live electrics

An Ambersil product story

NF precision cleaner is a truly nonflammable cleaner/degreaser and is suitable for removing flux, light oils, fingerprints and electrical contaminants.

Servicing production critical electrical machinery or electrical components where shutdown is either impractical or impossible can be a headache for maintenance engineers and service teams.

The cost of running production lines for as long as possible before a forced shutdown or planned service schedule, can be a fine balance between inefficient component performance and a significant increased risk of total, unplanned failure.

The build up of fluxes, carbon deposits, and general grime poses a real threat of intermittent or complete failure of electrical components.

Arcing can result from deposit build up, allowing high electrical currents to behave unpredictably, and at best causing a poor power flow, at worst damaging machinery and posing a health and safety risk.

CRC UK is launching its NF precision cleaner under the Ambersil brand, for use in the maintenance of critical electrical components that cannot be easily shut down for servicing.

NF precision cleaner is a truly nonflammable cleaner/degreaser (passing FEA 607E and FEA 610E) and is suitable for removing flux, light oils, fingerprints and electrical contaminants.

NF precision cleaner is plastic safe and has a high dielectric strength of 17kV.

In addition to being safe on components, it is also carries less health and safety issues due to being nonflammable, CFC and HCFC free.

Its fast evaporation results in highly efficient cleaning and servicing convenience, leaving behind no residue.

NF precision cleaner is safe to use on most plastics, such as Noryl, ABS and Lexan.

Fitted with Ambersil's 360-degree valve technology, NF precision cleaner can be used at all angles - even upside down - aiding product application in hard to reach areas.

NF precision clean can be used on a variety of components such as switches, relays, circuit breakers, alarm systems, PCBs, connectors, plugs, generators and sensors.

Genuine enquiries to this article will receive a can of NF precision cleaner to trial (trial offer limited to first 50 respondents received).
