Rapidly expanding AME Product Development Solutions has made two senior appointments aimed at boosting the company's growth.

Rapidly expanding AME Product Development Solutions has made two senior appointments aimed at boosting the company's growth.

In just six years, AME has already become one of the UK's top-ten product design and development companies, and continues to grow at an impressive rate.

It aims to reach top-five status within the next five years.

Ian Johannessen joins as Director - Business Development, and Paul Sanford as Business Development Manager.

Sanford will be based in southern England, substantially boosting AME's presence amongst companies based across the UK Johannessen joins AME from the telecommunications industry where he has worked for 10 years.

Since 1997 Johannessen has worked for Stratex Networks (a Nasdaq quoted wireless infrastructure company).

At Stratex he had responsibility for building a successful sales team supporting the business expansion of Vodafone and Orange, and also established new sales offices in Poland.

New Business Development Manager Sanford has 18 years experience of design and manufacture, within various industries, from automotive to telecommunications.

He has broad experience designing with both 2D and 3D CAD packages and extensive experience of managing complex projects from concept through to final production.

He has seven years sales and account management experience providing product development solutions, to a wide range of users, ranging from design consultancies, to multinational blue chip companies.

Prior to joining AME, Sanford was Business Development Director of P2P Solutions, and previously had held business development roles with Formation (a leading supplier of product development solutions), Arrk Europe and Ericsson OMC.

Paul Howell, Managing Director at AME says, "These are key appointments for us, helping to spearhead further growth and develop closer relationships with existing clients.

Paul will play a crucial role in helping us expand with southern-based companies.

Ian will lead the development of the team".
