Amot's latest 'Flagship' newsletter details new products and applications mainly directed at the marine industry, including the XTS bearing sensor that gives early warning of possible bearing failure to help save the loss of expensive engine components and avoid major safety problems Other Amot product innovations detailed include the cost-saving flanged 'R' range temperature control valve, 28000 Series combined pneumatic solenoid control valves added to the existing range modular valves, a new addition to the range of stainless steel pneumatic and hydraulic control valves, and the Wastegate butterfly exhaust gas control valve suitable for temperatures to 600C

The A Series modular pressure sensors also include a pressure transmitter, modular block and test valve manifold.

Applications include 'G' valves solving weight problems on a new floating construction crane/pipelaying barge for Raffles Shipyard, Amot fuel metering and shutoff valves being used to upgrade an Arizona power plant, and a control system for one of Europe's largest theme parks.
