A new flanged 'R' valve from Amot Controls, complements the existing range of self-contained temperature control valves, and is a lightweight and compact unit offering reduced maintenance costs at a competitive price.

Suitable for working pressures up to 45 bar, the units are ideally suited to high pressure applications, such as refrigeration compressor lubricating oil systems.

The thermostatic elements can be easily removed whilst the valve remains in situ, thus allowing easy maintenance.

The valves are available in a range of sizes from 25 to 80mm.

Positive three-way action ensures that on start up all the flow passes through the by-pass line, giving the fastest possible warm up time.

It also ensures constant volume flow within the system, with no restriction during the warm up cycle, thus ensuring maximum performance.

Similarly at the other end of its stroke the valve will fully open the cooler line ensuring maximum cooling.

AMOT thermostatic valves provide reliable temperature control in a variety of applications, from simple cooling circuits of engines and gearboxes to heat recovery/cogeneration systems.

They are also suitable for process control and industrial applications where fluids need to be either mixed or diverted depending on temperature.
