The 47702X range of electric actuators has been developed for quarter-turn operating applications such as valves, dampers and similar uses.

The Amot 47702X range of electric actuators has been developed for quarter-turn operating applications such as valves, dampers or similar uses and features an extended range of output torques and control options allowing effective tailoring to a wide variety of specific requirements.

The new range is robust yet compact, lightweight and highly corrosion resistant, and will be launched next month at Norshipping in Lillestrom, Norway.

A high-quality potentiometer is fitted as standard and the enclosure is weatherproof to IP67, NEMA 4 and 6.

The actuator is available in a range of torques and is self-locking with minimum backlash in the transmission.

Manual override is fitted as standard and there are adjustable mechanical end stops plus built-in thermal protection.

The easy-mounting base is standard to ISO5211 and a detachable drive adapter ensures easy valve matching.

An anticondensation heater is included for single phase ac versions.

Four limit switches are standard, with two for operation and two spare ones on all but the lowest torque model.
