A useful new website www.bearingwear.com gives easy access to full details on the applications and benefits of the unique Amot XTS-W bearing condition monitoring system, which gives advance notice of bearing failure on large two-stroke diesel engines and eliminates costly consequential damage.

Indicating wear in main, crank-pin and cross-head bearings on large two-stroke engines, the system comprises accurate and robust sensors, a custom designed signal processing unit and a touch screen PC for storage and display.

The system is simple to install, with no drilling of highly stressed engine components.
