A new brochure details the XTS-W bearing condition monitoring system - a proven system to maximise uptime and revenue.

A new brochure details the XTS-W bearing condition monitoring system - a proven system to maximise uptime and revenue.

The system is designed for two-stroke slow speed diesel engines.

The XTS-W was developed in partnership with MAN Diesel, and is a predictive maintenance system, which assesses the rate of degradation of engine bearings, allowing appropriate corrective action to be taken, thus avoiding consequential damage.

In addition the system offers the possibility of avoiding the need for open up inspections of bearings which not only saves money and downtime but also reduces injury risk to staff.

The system is Type Approved by Lloyd's Register for marine installation and has been fully tested over a long period on operating vessels.
