The updated AMOT G valve offers the smallest envelope size for a temperature control valve.
The latest version of AMOT G temperature control valve being launched at Norshipping 07 has been designed to ease integration into the application by ensuring that when selected, the valve size is the same as the pipe size.
The updated AMOT G valve offers the smallest envelope size for a temperature control valve, giving optimal matching to the installation piping, resulting in reduced installation times and lower installation costs.
Ideally suited for both mixing and diverting applications, and typically used for fluid temperature control in large diesel and gas engines in the marine and power generation industries, the valve offers the same benefits as the previous version, including light weight, and a compact and port-configurable design.
These valves offer rapid and accurate regulation of fluid temperatures to 100C with flow rates up to 3000m/h.
Accessories include the 8071/2D PID controller, incorporating temperature dead band, remote output alarms and logic outputs to drive 25A solid state relays, having significantly higher performance than standard relays.
An AMOT 8060 temperature sensor is also included.
Rugged actuators provide enhanced reliability and there is a choice of electric, pneumatic or electro-pneumatic control systems.
The valve is used for oil temperature control, jacket water cooling, charge air temperature control, central cooling and sea water cooling.
