An AMOT product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Jan 15, 2008

Temperature valves provide high repeatability for accurate control and are widely used for different types of vessels in Chinese shipyards.

AMOT has secured orders to supply G Series temperature control valves for 30 shipsets of 156kt deadweight crude oil tanker vessels being built in China by Jiangsu Rongsheng Heavy Industries.

The order has been placed through AMOT's new regional distributor Ninghai Equipment and Engineering.

China's shipbuilding industry developed rapidly in the first half of 2007, with ship completion up 43% and orders 165% over the period last year, giving it the largest number of new orders in the world according to China Daily.

AMOT temperature valves provide high repeatability for accurate control and are widely used for different types of vessels in Chinese shipyards where their ease of integration cost has found particular favour.

Valve size matched to pipe size reduces installation time and costs, ports are configurable to suit each installation and low pressure drop allows use of smaller valve size, and manual hand-wheel valve adjustment simplifies setup and maintenance.
