Data acquisition boards speak for
themselves
Amplicon has recently introduced the new PowerDAQ II family of high performance, multi-function data acquisition boards for PCI bus from UEI.
Amplicon, as the sole distributor for United Electronic Industries, has recently introduced the new PowerDAQ II family of high performance, multi-function data acquisition boards for PCI bus from UEI, a company dedicated to the design and manufacture of DAQ boards The boards offer 12, 14 or 16 bit resolution with sampling speeds of 1.25 MSamples/s, 400 kSamples/s or 333kSamples/s respectively

Smart data-acquisition family separates A from D
Amplicon has a new family of data acquisition boards, providing a smart, space saving solution.
The integrated DSP/PCI and logic interface controls all subsystems, allowing simultaneous analogue input, analogue output, digital input, digital output and counter timer subsystems.
The PowerDAQ II board comes complete with new software: DoctorDAQ.
This is a brand new add-in for Microsoft Excel, allowing full access to PowerDAQ boards without any programming.

Data acquisition boards are exclusive line
Amplicon Liveline has formed a new partnership with Exacq Technologies, a leading manufacturer of PC-based data acquisition products, as the current sole UK distributor of its products.
This new software is far superior to other Excel add-ins due to the fact that it features three modes of analogue support (single shot, continuous and scope mode); it has support for analogue out, digital in, digital out and counter timers and also supports simultaneous operation for all subsystems.
The software can talk to the user, helping them through the setup options! A realtime FFT worksheet is included as well as other example worksheets, and it functions with or without hardware in demonstration mode.
The software comes with examples and source code for Visual C++, Visual Basic, Delphi and C++ builder, and drivers for LabView, HP VEE, TestPoint and DASYLab.
If LabView software is already being employed, the easy to use set of LabView drivers that have been developed by UEI allow the device to be effortlessly incorporated into an established test set up.
The board itself features extensive triggering for both analogue inputs and outputs.
As it is a brand new PCI design, there is no need for any ISA to PCI circuitry, and no legacy code to cause problems.
The DSP used in the design of the board is a high speed 66MHz Motorola 56301.
The device is competitively priced from £695 and enhances the range of data acquisition products already on offer from Amplicon, who can provide a complete DAQ solution.
The PowerDAQ II is primarily aimed at electronic component testing, electronic instrumentation test and manufacture, research and development and education applications, and is CE marked for EMC.
Both pre and post sales technical support is available from Amplicon free of charge, and the post sales customer support team can replicate your PC or system configuration and help to ensure that everything is set up correctly.
