Amplicon's new Peak6320 Dual Flip Chip Pentium III single board computer from Nexcom, utilising the robust BX440 chipset, has just been released onto the market.

The BX440 chipset is optimised for SDRAM support.

Nexcom has seven years experience within the SBC market.

This full size single board computer has been built with high performance Dual Celeron/PIII FPGA Flip Chip CPU's operating at up to 850MHz.

The BX440 chipset used is highly developed with no bugs, and works very efficiently with DIMM SDRAM.

The SBC offers 4 x DIMM sockets for 1GB SDRAM, and optional C and T 69000 AGP mode VGA controller for CRT and LCD.

A seven level watchdog timer is also featured.

The Peak 6320A is the top of the range with on board SCSI, VGA and LAN controllers.

There are four different models in the family offering prices for all budgets.

The new model builds on the range of SBC's offered by Amplicon, which span from the half size 486 up to the full size dual Pentium III 64 bit PCI.

Such a range on offer makes it possible to source all your requirements from the one company with regards to both price and application.

With four different models available at very competitive prices, the new SBC is ideal for heavy duty and mission critical applications, including Industrial Rugged Servers; Computer Telephony Integration; Industrial Control; ISP server farms and defence and aerospace.

The SBC's are CE certified and have FCC Class A approval.

Amplicon provides full pre and post sales telephone support for the products, and the Realcall Button found on the data sheet on the Amplicon website also links directly in to the office where a sales engineer will subsequently be able to contact the enquirer direct within a few minutes.

For the future a new dual flip chip Pentium III single board computer for 64 bit PCI bus is being planned.
