The PCI224 and PCI234 PCI bus analog output boards are high performance plug and play boards costing less than most comparable "low-cost" boards.
Large displays offer 50 or 100mm high LEDs
Designed to enable displayed data to be read over long distances, the BDF series are large four or six digit displays with 50 (2in) or 100mm (4in) high LEDs.
Onboard VGA and LAN are included to support CRT displays and Ethernet.
This low-cost SBC also provides the benefit of being able to be used as a standalone computer, as the ATX connector obviates the need for a backplane.
In addition it provides comprehensive support for standard industrial PC configurations.
Three 168 pin DIMM sockets with up to 768MB SDRAM and ECC support, a bus mastered IDE with Ultra DME 33/66 controllers and a full array of ports are also included.
For the more complex timing requirements in critical applications, the device has a 256 level watchdog timer.
The onboard VGA controller supports CRT displays with resolutions of up to 1600 x 1200, and hardware monitoring for CPU voltage, temperature and fan speed.
System temperature and fan speed can also be monitored.
Additional features include modem ring-on, wake on LAN, Windows 95/98 shut off and PC99 ACPI power management, all for the more demanding PC based industrial applications.
Two USB ports, RS232/422 and 485 interface connections and support for IrDA are also included, as well as interface for two floppy disk drives and built in audio.
The single board computer is also configured to run with both Linux and Windows 2000.
The MSC3680 is a highly reliable device and comes with the additional benefit of Amplicon's excellent pre and post sales technical support.
