The first in a series of free one-day seminars to be held at the Amplicon HQ in Brighton, UK, will examine the growing trend of Ethernet use in industrial and automation environments.

The first in a series of free one-day seminars to be held at the Amplicon HQ in Brighton, UK, will examine the growing trend of Ethernet use in industrial and automation environments The will be held on the 2nd September 2003 in collaboration with Taiwanese manufacturer Moxa Technologies

In addition to a keynote speech from "Industrial Ethernet" book editor Bill George, senior engineering and marketing staff from Moxa Technologies will present the seminar content, answer questions from the audience and oversee live demonstrations.

The morning session will cover "Deployment of modern automation control systems" and "Advanced technology of Industrial Ethernet".

This will be followed by a buffet lunch and an opportunity to talk directly with Moxa and Amplicon staff.

In the afternoon, "Redundancy in Industrial Ethernet", "Fibre optics" and "Network management" are the subjects for discussion.
