Amplicon has added two new graphical software packages - DasyLab and DAQFactory - to its range, perfectly complimenting its extensive hardware data acquisition products.

Amplicon has added two new graphical software packages - DasyLab and DAQFactory - to its range, perfectly complimenting its extensive hardware data acquisition products Both packages were chosen for their ease of use and simple graphical programming, which should suit engineers who are not familiar with software development

DasyLab enables even the most complicated measurements and analysis to be implemented quickly without the need for programming.

Appropriate module symbols representing inputs or outputs, displays, calculations or any operations provided by the program, can be placed onto the worksheet and connected by "wires", which signify the signal flow.

DasyLab makes life easier for engineers through its graphical programming interface, which provides diagrams, tables, graphs etc Four levels are available from DasyLab Pro to DasyLab Lite, which provide different levels of functionality to suit your price/ performance requirements.

Drivers are available for the majority of Amplicon's range of Data Acquisition cards, and other interfaces such as RS232, Modbus, GPIB and Ethernet are also supported.

The other new software addition is DAQFactory from Azeotech.

This powerful, easy-to-use data acquisition software provides the all tools required to take, display, analyse and share data, as well as tools to automate processes without complex programming and all at reasonable cost.

Aimed at factory automation and process control, this PC based software may be connected to a variety of data acquisition cards, distributed I/O over RS485 or Ethernet, Modbus and PLCs from Allen Bradley and others.

The package is ideal for logging data, data analysis, sequencing and automation of tasks, both for simple task or complex applications.

DAQFactory is also available in a number of different price/performance versions, with features that include PID control loops, e-mail, networking and ODBC data logging.

DAQFactory Pro also provides an alarm feature which tracks out-of-bound conditions, and can log events or perform actions.
