Amplicon Networking Essentials Ethernet switches suit cost-sensitive markets such as building automation and IP CCTV.

Amplicon will provide free Ethernet switches to its customers in order to highlight the launch of a new range of industrial Ethernet switches As part of the promotion of the Amplicon Networking Essentials (ANE) range, Amplicon is offering a free five or eight-port switch with every order for an industrial PC or storage server

This will allow customers to sample the new networking products at no extra cost.

Cost-sensitive markets such as building automation and IP CCTV will benefit from the new range along with the traditional industrial Ethernet markets such as factory automation, process control and transportation.

The ANE range has dual redundant 12 to 48V DC power inputs so they can be powered directly from a convenient DC voltage supply and have an additional power source connected for increased reliability.

Power is connected via screw terminal blocks, providing a far more secure connection than the DC jack typically used on commercial products.

DIN-rail and wall mount brackets are supplied along with the rugged metal enclosure of the switches, so that the products can be installed in roadside/trackside cabinets, or screwed securely to a wall or panel.

With a temperature range of -10 to +60C as well as shock, vibration and freefall approvals, the products can withstand far harsher treatment and environments than their commercial counterparts.
