Web videos teach how to use Amplicon products

An Amplicon product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Nov 5, 2009

Amplicon has announced a new online video initiative to help customers configure and commission the company's products and technologies.

The video scheme is designed to shorten the learning curve for new products and provide a helping hand.

The short videos will also provide generic technical information on cellular communications, industrial Ethernet, wireless LAN and other industrial electronics subjects.

Among the videos available at the company's website is 'GPRS and 3G Communications', in which Amplicon discusses cellular connectivity and highlights the compelling business case for using 3G routers.

'Windows XP - Dead or Alive?' describes Microsoft's plans for the future of the industrial market's favourite software.

'Benefits of Using PXI for Test Systems' explains what makes the PXI platform the preferred choice for modern test systems.

The Moxa W5340 product demo shows how to set up the W5340 to give Scada measurements over cellular networks.

Another video gives an overview of the Nport 6000 series and demonstrates how to configure and set it up.

This video also shows the advantages of data buffering.
