Amtech is now offering a comprehensive range of training courses, all carefully formulated to help those attending to maximise the benefits they get from their investment in software.

Most courses are also recognised for continuing professional development (CPD) purposes by the IEE, IMechE and CIBSE.

A comprehensive programme of scheduled courses is offered at Amtech's new training facility in Milton Keynes, but courses can also be arranged at alternative venues, including customers' own premises.

Among Amtech's most recent additions to its training programme is a new course which deals with discrimination studies in electrical installations.

Introduced in response to customer requests, the course covers the fundamentals and principles of discrimination in LV systems, and also provides an introduction to LV/HV grading.

As with all Amtech training, the course material is based on practical real-world applications.

Other standard courses from Amtech cover the CableMaster electrical installation design system, the FastTest test and inspection package, and two packages for HV installations - Protect HV and PowerNet HV.

A whole range of additional courses will be introduced in the near future, and Amtech is also happy to develop customised courses to address specific requirements.

"All of our software is designed to be intuitive to learn and use", said Mark Tindall of AMTECH, "which means that new users start achieving useful results virtually from day one.

Nevertheless, like most programs, ours contain useful shortcuts and special features which can really aid productivity.

Our training brings these to the fore, and puts users on the fast track to total proficiency".

Amtech training courses are developed and presented by electrical engineers who are not only skilled trainers, but also have wide practical experience in the fields to which the training courses relate.

Those attending the courses, therefore, receive relevant training in which they can have total confidence, and they also have the opportunity to get answers to questions which relate to their own specific circumstances and applications.

Further details of Amtech training courses are available in the form of a new brochure "Amtech training - get the most from your software".
