Amtech Power Software has located its new US sales and support operations in Pittsburgh USA.
Amtech Power Software has located its new US sales and support operations in Pittsburgh USA.
The company has opened its new facility in the Airport Office Park in Pittsburgh, where it signed a three-year lease on a 180m2 space.
The company opened the centre last year and is planning to hire a further 15 staff including customer and technical support personnel and software engineers in the next 24 months.
Based in Central Milton Keynes, Amtech develops software to design, test and inspect low- and high-voltage electrical circuits and systems.
The company was attracted to the region by its base of engineers involved with designing power distribution systems.
Amtech Power Software has recently changed it's name from Amtech Computer Systems, is to coincide with expansion into the North American market.
Managing Director Ian Hay says, "This is an exiting development for AMECH as the new name more accurately reflects our core business.
Together with our recent expansion into North America this helps us consolidate our global branding".
