2006 version of Prodesign software for electrical engineers and contractors gets a fresher look with colour scheme and redesigned icons.
Amtech has released the 2006 version of its Prodesign software for electrical engineers and contractors.
Additions for 2006 include a different colour scheme and all the icons have been redesigned to make it fresher and easier to use.
The graphical view of cable installation methods has been changed so the user can see the installation method on screen to make sure the correct BS7671 method has been selected.
A consumer unit module allows modelling of single phase consumer units quickly and accurately including RCD split consumer units.
The instant data display lets users hover their mouse over any network component on screen to display instantly all key data relating to it.
The firm's Fasttest test and inspection software has also been updated with features including a board manager to give more flexibility on tests where there are various distribution boards.
Boards can be inserted, removed, moved and renamed.
Users can customise the colours of their certificates to suit a company's style.
Autosave function help prevent data loss.
There is an excessive earth loop impedance report generator.
All current tools and commands have been kept but with different icons and colours for a clear and easier to use style.
Fasttest Mobile for the Pocket PC has been rewritten and is now compatible with Windows Mobile 5.0 software.
