Britain is bursting at the seams with innovation, says an electronics company specialising in solving "the unsolvable" for manufacturers.
Amray Electronics says it is increasingly helping manufacturers and designers turn their ideas into successful products - fuelling a resurgence of innovation.
The company says Britain may be suffering from declining manufacturing industry, but a whole new breed of designers and innovators are taking the place of those traditional manufacturers.
The West Midlands-based company, with clients all over the UK, says much of its work involves finding ways of getting ever more energy-saving components into ever-decreasing space, with manufacturers turning to them because problems very often appear unsurmountable.
"We have many years of diverse experience in the fields of industrial automation, instrumentation and stand-alone product design", said MD Andrew Raby.
"We operate closely with our clients to recognise and develop solutions to improve production methods or expand a product range to best advantage".
Amray says the UK is "alive with innovation" and the company can now offer a complete development service, from inception through to full product life cycle.
"Innovation is one of our key words", continued Raby.
"Our clients are usually looking for economical and reliable electronics and software to enable them to keep ahead of the competition and this is what British innovators are good at".
Amray is regularly involved in work on laboratory and medical equipment, marine instrumentation, temperature and motion control, automotive control systems, automated test controllers and integrated PC industrial controls.
The company also specialises in rapid design and prototyping of PCBs, software and installation kits.
"Cost reduction engineering is vital to manufacturers in the UK if they are to keep ahead of the game", said Raby.
"We help them minimise system complexity through the use of intelligent components without compromising on quality".
Other areas in which Amray is involved are components for aggressive environments, such as chemical and marine products, sensor technology, product integration, Scada systems - for monitoring and controlling manufacturing - and process development.
"Our wide experience allows us to help a wide range of manufacturers and organisations, from large corporations down to small businesses that have good ideas but not the detailed expertise to develop their ideas".
"Britain may be suffering from declining manufacturing industry, but at the same tine a whole new breed of designers and innovators are taking the place of our traditional industry", added Raby.
