Animatics has released the SM3416DT-PLS2 series of OEM Smartmotors.
The SM3416DT-PLS2's features include: high-speed position capture for demanding packaging, labelling and vision-registration applications; advanced torque over-shoot braking to safely stop high-moment inertia loads; mode torque-brake to smoothly stop during E-stops or other faults; and eight-pole segmented stator-design that achieves a higher energy density and better efficiency.
The Integrated Servo now features greater than 900W peak power, more than one HP.
Smartmotors are motion-control systems that incorporate a servo motor, amplifier, encoder and motion controller into the same integral frame.
The SM3416DT-PLS2 features high continuous and peak output torques.
It delivers up to 480 oz-in of peak torque while maintaining more than 200 oz-in of continuous torque with a maximum speed capability of more than 5,000rpm.
The SM3416DT-PLS2 features standard NEMA 34-frame dimensions.
