Patch panels add structure to cabling
A new range of angled patch panels is designed to ease the administration, management, capital expenditure and operational expenditure of installing and maintaining structured cabling systems.
They comply with all the performance requirements for current and proposed applications such as 100Base-Tx, 155Mbit/s ATM and Gigabit Ethernet.
The universal wiring label permits field installation to either T568A or T568B wiring, and simplifies ordering and inventory procedures.
The panels feature 110Connect punchdown blocks which are compatible with both 110 (single-wire and five-pair) and Krone single-wire tools, as well as six-port replaceable modules which accept 9 and 6mm labels (included) plus colour-coded icons.
Up to 24 ports per panel are available.
The rear cable management facility improves the mechanical performance of the terminations, reduces the tensile stress on the cables, and provides ease of maintaining an acceptable bend radius as the cables enter the punchdown block.
The front side is slightly angled to allow the use of impact tooling at the rear.
