Fabrication and weld overlay cladding specialist Arc Energy Resources has been presented with an Investors in People award at a ceremony hosted recently by Business Link in Cheltenham.
Fabrication and weld overlay cladding specialist Arc Energy Resources has been presented with an Investors in People award at a ceremony hosted recently by Business Link in Cheltenham.
The award follows a two-day assessment of the Gloucestershire-based company, which included interviews with most of its 30 employees.
Commenting for Arc Energy, a delighted MD Alan Robinson says: "The award is unusual in our business and, as such, is an endorsement of the already strong people focus that has helped the company maintain a skilled and loyal workforce since it was founded in 1994".
He adds that he is particularly pleased that the IIP report singled out Arc Energy's friendly and approachable management style, excellent awareness of the importance of quality, clear business vision and commitment to skills and training.
Arc Energy also recently achieved accreditation to the latest ISO9001:2000 quality standard.
