Style Machine Tools is the winner of the Dealer Sales Challenge organised by measurement and control specialist Acu-Rite.

Style Machine Tools is the winner of the Dealer Sales Challenge organised by measurement and control specialist Acu-Rite, and has been rewarded for its 24% rise in sales of Acu-Rite products with a high-specification Dell laptop computer.

Covering the North West, North Wales and West Yorkshire areas, Style's directors Neil Fearnley and Steve Metherell say much of this increased activity during 2003 surrounded the retrofitting of precision glass scale linear encoders to a wide range of machines but predominantly lathes, milling machines and borers - for which Acu-Rite also provides the Series 200T, 200M and Commando point-to-point DRO systems.

Acu-Rite glass linear encoders are supplied in varying lengths and with resolutions from 0.5 to 10um and, as standard, feature the Position-TracT distance encoded reference marks that provide users with accurate and fast location of workpiece absolute zero.
