Control systems prove popular on machine tools
The popularity of Anilam control systems with machine tool builders and distributors as well as end users has been borne out again recently with comments from Gate Machinery International
In addition to Anilam's up to four-axis DROs and their complementary precision glass scale linear encoder technology, the Anilam control series extends from the two-/three-axis milling Series 3000M and two-/three-axis 4200T turning CNC through to the three-/five-axis 5000M series CNC and the multi-axis 6000 Series, as well as the Commando retrofit system for boring mills.
These complement Scotmech's Acu-Rite up to six-axis DROs and accompanying precision glass linear encoders, as well as the two-/three-axis MillPWR CNC.
The result is that Scotmech now offers an ACI system to suit most applications and every budget.
Established by Cameron Paterson and Jim Foster, two machine tool specialists who between them have 50 years' experience in the production engineering/manufacturing sector, Scotmech services companies and learning establishments of every size throughout the region, with a particular focus on "connecting with every school and learning centre to highlight the cost-effectiveness and ease of use of the ACI systems" in applications that are heavily biased towards manual machines.
