A buoyant market and a range of ground breaking product launches have combined to generate increased Q1 sales for the ranges of Acu-Rite, Anilam and Quadra-Chek Metronics digital readouts (DROs) and computer numerical control systems (CNCs) supplied by measurement and control specialist ACI (UK) According to Managing Director, Phil Goulding, the company's volume of sales for both CNC and DRO systems rose 13% in January to March 2006 compared with Q4 2005, and whereas DRO sales were 8%r than in the same period last year, CNC system sales were 21% higher

"While increasing marketplace confidence has boosted our business - in particular our CNC sales - there's no doubt that our recent launch of new Acu-Rite and Anilam Wizard DROs, coupled with innovative glass linear encoder technology, are proving an irresistible combination for companies looking for high-performance machine control at a cost-effective price", he added.
