ACI (UK) reports improved business in the first quarter of 2007 compared with Q1 2006, with an overall 23% rise in revenues.

Measurement and control specialist ACI (UK) reports a highly successful level of business in the first quarter of the year compared with Q1 2006, with an overall 23% rise in revenues achieved via both its service activities and product sales across the Acu-Rite, Anilam and Metronics CNC and DRO systems, as well as the accompanying precision glass linear encoder range.

Particular gains were seen in sales of encoders, says Managing Director Phil Goulding, which rose 45% compared with Q1 2006, although "measurable improvements" were also seen in all product areas.
