New from Anca, iBurr is a novel software package created to design and manufacture standard and aluminium burrs.
With this software, burrs can be created in a variety of shapes, sizes and features with optimum ease.
The iBurr software caters for standard and aluminium burr types.
The standard burr application is used to deburr harder and tougher material such as iron or steel.
The aluminium burr application is used to manufacture burrs intended for deburring of softer materials such as aluminium.
Due to its flexibility in application, iBurr is able to meet burr production demands of a vast number of industries using burr tools.
Its functionality is further enhanced by the complementary use of CIMulator3D, an Anca simulation software.
A user is able to simulate a burr which is created.
Some of the features of iBurr are: a wide range of standard shapes and sises from which to choose from, and each shape can also be modified; various types of tip sectioning options; options to create customised tip geometries; vanishing fluting option (standard burr) which allows multiple flutes to merge near the end of tool to create a more defined cutting edge for burrs; all designs can be verified and simulated using CIMulator3D; left and right hand cut and helix options; and end face operations possible on flat ended taps.
iBurr is one of the most user friendly Anca software package.
Its flexibility and versatility enable a burr to be designed and set up on a machine within a short period of time.
