Alcoa Fujikura has been awarded the Subaru President's Award for 2002.

Alcoa Fujikura has been awarded the Subaru President's Award for 2002 Masayoshi Nagano, President and CEO of Subaru, presented the award at a ceremony in Lafayette, Indiana on 29th April 2003

This award is presented to Subaru's top suppliers, and it is the second recognition for the Alcoa business, which was a recipient in 1995.

The President's Award recognises five consecutive years of winning a Subaru quality award.

The criteria for winning a Subaru quality award are an average quality rating of 99.5% and a delivery rating of 99%.

AFL successfully met those criteria in 2002 with a yearly average quality rating of 99.56% and a delivery rating of 100%.

The company currently has responsibility for electrical wiring harnesses on the Subaru Legacy, Outback and Baja vehicles.
