A new enhanced one-year free service package to end-users, the Alspa Care "Bronze", is announced by Alstom Power Conversion across its drives and PLC product ranges.

A new enhanced one-year free service package to end-users, the Alspa Care "Bronze", is announced by Alstom Power Conversion across its drives and PLC product ranges.

It further enhances the company's standard warranty package.

Bronze warranty packages are available on certain new list-price purchases in the UK from Alstom.

It embodies a number of key customer benefits, including a 365-day, around-the-clock emergency call-out coverage through the company's nationwide network of business centres.

Immediate access to Alstom stores and despatch of replacement components is available on a 24-hour basis as part of an overall priority repair and exchange service.

This is designed to keep any possible disruption to plants and processes down to an absolute minimum.

Another important part of the Alspa Care "Bronze" package is a facility for the availability of back-up copies of programs and parameters by which drives or PLC's have been configured.

This is a key customer safeguard in the event of a system failure affecting manufacturing or operational processes.

In addition, the new package also carries with it a 10% discount entitlement on system training courses provided by Alstom.

A wide range of other standard and tailored support packages are also available to suit individual customers.
