The TR100 transducer readout unit from Applied Measurements is a completely portable, precision instrument packaged in a small handheld IP65 enclosure weighing in at only 260 grams.

The design is based upon the company's highly successful TR200 and offers the main features of that instrument, accepting strain gauge load cell or pressure transducer inputs of between 0.75mV/V and 7.5mV/V at full range.

It has a maximum display resolution of 1:19999.

For simplified use the operator has access to only four keys, ON/OFF, TARE, peak HOLD, RANGE.

However five internal keys give access to select and set via the menu auto gain scaling, decimal point, fixed zeros, digital filtering and the calibration scaling.

Two totally independent ranges are available to enable the instrument to read two separate parameters lb/kg, tonnes/kN, HIGH/LOW resolution and in some instances GROSS/NET.

The menu options offer the engineer the ability to tailor the instruments response to the application.

In each range all of the variables can be set including ZERO and FILTERING.

An LED, viewed through the label, indicates which range is set.

Once these parameters are set, all the menu keys can be disabled and the top of the instrument replaced to provide the user with the simplest of indicators ideally matched to the monitoring requirement.

As standard the instrument comes with a 9V PP3 battery and a rechargeable battery is available as an optional extra.

The TR100 can be supplied complete with one of Applied Measurements transducers, calibrated in appropriate units and traceable to National Standards.
