ABB has launched a new website addressing the latest hot topics affecting the use of instrumentation, drives and motors throughout industry.
ABB has launched a new website addressing the latest hot topics affecting the use of instrumentation, drives and motors throughout industry.
With a wealth of information written by experts, ABB's "Big Issues" site can be accessed from the company's homepage, and provides information on everything from how to get the best from particular types of equipment through to the latest legislation.
The site will be updated regularly to include all the latest technical articles, fact files and tips from ABB's Automation Technologies division.
Issues currently covered by the site include: the Pressure Equipment Directive; flowmeter calibration; top tips for flowmeter selection; the Urban Waste Water Treatment Directive; the ATEX Directive; reasons to opt for high-efficiency motors; and the Climate Change Levy.
The site is also home to ABB's popular Fieldbus Jargon Buster, a simple-to-use layman's guide explaining almost one hundred words and phrases commonly used by Fieldbus experts.
Visitors to the site are also invited to e-mail ABB's Bob Kingman with ideas of topics they would like to see covered on the site.
