A new website provides its visitors with free access to a library of CAD symbols.

This drawing library has been developed in order to provide the user with access to both 2D drawing and 3D models of the MayTec aluminium profile systems, thus improving access to original data and speeding up the design process for the visiting engineer or design draughtsman.

All common CAD systems are supported with every drawing and model being available in multiple formats.

With the addition of a 3D model preview option you can be sure to make the correct item selection first time.

The portal to this library can be found by visiting the Applied Automation website at and following the link to the "product support" page, and then to the CAD symbol and drawing library.

Once users have registered their details with the e-library and selected their required symbols from the site, each image is sent directly as an e-mail attachment allowing users to start work on their designs immediately.

The MayTec aluminium profile systems can be used in many applications including the safeguarding of dangerous machinery, the assembly of machine frames, construction of work stations for use as assembly and inspection areas and also conveyor systems and tube clamping applications.
