Suitable for use in any 19" enclosure, but with additional features unique to the IMnet and IMserv networking enclosure family, APW Electronics' new power strip range offers a choice of outlets

Suitable for use in any 19" enclosure, but with additional features unique to the IMnet and IMserv networking enclosure family, APW Electronics' new power strip range offers a choice of IEC320, French, German and UK outlets; it is available with 5, 6, 9 or 13 outlets, with a 7 outlet filtered version also available All outlets are angled at 45deg to facilitate cable management

The family also features a unique tamper-proof illuminated green switch to prevent inadvertent switch-off in mission-critical uses.

For use exclusively in APW's IMnet and IMserv networking enclosures, a special design of bracket is supplied.

In common with all IMnet and IMserv accessories, power strips can be secured without the use of tools or fixings.

The brackets hook into either the standard 19" cage nut apertures, the standard square holes in the verticals or the panel mounting supports; snapping the power strip unit into the brackets forces lugs to engage, positively securing the power strip assembly to the enclosure.

The power strips can be mounted horizontally or vertically in the sides of the IMnet or IMserv, outside the 19" panel area.

Alternatively, they can be mounted in the vertical cable channels alongside the 19" panel mounting area.

The 5-way version is suitable for mounting in any 19" aperture; the plastic end caps contain standard earpieces, which are simply pulled out if the unit is to be positioned horizontally using the 19" panel mounting square holes.

To attach the units to panels or other flat surfaces, moulded brackets that snap-fit into slots on the back of the panel strip are supplied.
