A new range of PEM metal and plastic hybrid patented self-clinching panel fasteners in a choice of seven coloured caps is now available from Arconix/UK
A new, and unique range, of PEM metal and plastic hybrid panel fasteners in a choice of seven coloured caps is now available from Arconix/UK Ltd.
These new patented self-clinching panel fasteners, PEM Type PFP, are complete assemblies designed for permanent installation in metal sheets as thin as 0.92mm.
Arconix/UK Ltd., say these PEM Type PFP hybrid panel fasteners feature a steel retainer and screw, with an ABS plastic cap.
The natural spring action of the cap's plastic 'fingers' allows the cap to be held in a retracted position.
When tightened, the plastic cap completely covers the retainer.
They have a universal slot/Phillips drive, and the large plastic cap makes tightening by hand easy and secure.
The range of cap colours are ideal where colour identifiers are necessary, such as red for no access and green for OK, or where colour matching with panels or components is desirable.
The PEM self-clinching panel fastener assemblies are available with a standard black cap or with the optional colours red, yellow, green, orange, blue and violet in two screw lengths, in thread sizes M3 - M4.
