New metal/plastic Snap-In panel fasteners from PEM can be installed quickly and easily without the use of tools, by simply pressing them into properly sized round holes in any sheet material.

New PEM metal/plastic Snap-In panel fasteners can be installed quickly and easily without the use of tools by simply pressing them into properly sized round holes in any sheet material.

These new panel fasteners can be installed even after final component assembly in metal or plastic sheets and panels as thin as 0.92mm, and as thick as 1.65mm.

Arconix/UK say the new PEM Snap-In Type PFS panel fasteners are designed with a plastic self-captive retainer whose 'fingers' grip the mounting sheet to hold the fastener securely in place when pressed into the hole.

This panel mounting hardware features screws with steel threads and a six-lobe black ABS plastic cap.

A slot screw drive in the cap is standard, or there is an optional Phillips drive.

The panel fastener's screws are captive to prevent fall-out and are designed with a standard PEM dog point lead-in.

One screw length is offered for each thread size M3 through to M4.

The plastic cap with external lobes can be grasped easily for operation by hand.

Optional cap colours (red, yellow, green, orange, blue and violet) are available for colour-coding and matching.
