Processing power put into system builders hands
The new IPWorkStation from Armagard provides the benefits of industrial computing without the costs and performance issues of industrial computers.
The new IPWorkStation from Armagard provides the benefits of industrial computing without the costs and performance issues of industrial computers.
Uniquely, IPWorkStation provides TFT screen and membrane keyboard/trackerball housed in an IP-rated steel enclosure but allows the integrator to install their own choice of processor.
It gives system builders the freedom to take advantage of the low prices and high performance of tower PC systems without compromising system integrity in harsh environments.
IPWorkStation is ideal for localised control, measurement, inspection or intranet access by engineers outside of the control room.
It is available in IP54 (mild steel) or IP66 (stainless steel).
A Zone 2 hazardous model is also planned.
The TFT screen and membrane keyboard are available in different formats.
Side doors enable easy access to the PC drives and ports but security locks prevent unauthorised access.
The unit includes surge protected mains adapter and seven hole gland plate for cable entry.
The ergonomic keyboard plinth includes a wrist rest to prevent the potential of RSI complaints.
IPWorkStation may be used standalone, wall or pedestal-mounted.
Armagard will be exhibiting on Stand 412 at CIM 2001.
