Thermal imaging sensor aids OEM applications
The IR108 thermal imaging sensor module is designed for end-users to integrate into their own thermal imaging systems.
Onboard software functions - accessed via a set of thumb-operated keys - allow temperature measurements with sensitivity of less than 0.1C.
Object emissivity, single and multiple point temperatures, isotherms, max/min and electronic zoom are all standard functions ensuring comprehensive probing for, and pinpointing of, potential thermal variations.
With onboard data storage for thermal and visible images plus voice annotation, the IR928+ camera is well able to operate as a stand-alone system.
However, for complete data security, the stored data can be easily transferred to a PC system via the built-in interface or transmitted via the optional wireless communication accessory to a remote monitoring station.
Bundled with the camera is a suite of Windows-based post-processing software offering an extensive range of temperature measurement, image processing and report generating functions.
The new IR928+ is more sensitive, more accurate, offers more choice and contains more standard features than any other camera within its price range.
The IR928+ has already shown itself to be ideal for applications such as energy management and building surveys, analysis of storage/reactor tank levels and insulation, pipe blockage, motor and pump bearings, overheating electrical switchgear, transformers, busbars and power lines, medical/veterinary thermography plus many, many more.
"The new IR928+ system brings the benefits of real-time thermal imaging and thermography to many, many more users", asserts Ian Johnstone, Sales and Marketing Director at Armstrong Optical .
"Now price need never be an obstacle when it comes to high finesse thermal imaging - the IR928+ represents the best value for money when compared with any other similarly specified system on the market today".
