EMD is a major supplier of electric motors for a wide range of applications from mobility vehicles to floor cleaning equipment.

The standard control equipment will be suitable for most applications, but additional features and custom designed hand control mechanisms will be made available.

Geoff Earl, Managing Director of Astralux, said: "We have worked with EMD for many years and see this agreement as a means to bring the benefits of Astralux electronic control technology to a broad market through an established and respected electric motor supplier".
