Asco 256/356 Series valves are robust, reliable and easy to maintain, direct operated 0.125in valves, suitable for a wide range of fluids and a variety of applications With brass or stainless steel bodies, the new 256/356 Series are ideal for demanding applications that require fast operation and frequent use

The low cost, European designed valves are available in 2/2 NC/NO and 3/2 NC/NO/U configurations and offer a long service life in excess of 20 million operations, with minimal maintenance required.

The valve design incorporates a shock absorber, reducing valve noise and ensuring reliable operation.

Operational reliability is not compromised when the fluid contains particles or sediment, because the square section core design reduces friction and helps prevent sticking or blocking.

Extensive fluid compatibility is made possible with a range of different seat and seal materials and various pipe thread options.

Different power requirements are catered for by the DC or dual frequency AC coils that are available with spade plug or flying lead connections.

The valves have ATEX 94/9/CE, UL and CSA approvals making them suitable for export markets.

Technical specifications include 10 ms opening times and 5ms closing, flow rates from 0.05 to 0.13m3/h, differential pressure of 35bar and a temperature range of -10 to +100C using the standard FPM elastomers.

Installation of the valves is straightforward, using the two M3 mounting holes provided in the valve body.

The coil assembly can be rotated on the body to any desired position.

There is also a version for mounting two to ten stations on a brass or stainless steel manifold.

At only 238mm width for a manifold supporting 10 solenoid valves, this provides a cost effective and compact solution requiring only a single inlet supply.

The 256/356 series of solenoid valves are added to the already extensive range of Asco Joucomatic direct and pilot operated valves offered by Emerson.

Renowned for their high standard of engineering and reliability these valves are installed across all industries and in all world areas.
