Asco Joucomatic is meeting growing market demands for more high-tech pre-assembled automation systems and control cabinets by opening a custom design and assembly facility near Wolverhampton.

Catering for designers and engineers in markets ranging from petrochemicals to emergency security systems, the new unit is strategically placed close to the motorway network in the Midlands, improving product delivery times and reducing costs.

Jean-Christophe Serkumian, Managing Director of Asco Joucomatic UK explains: "The facility draws together Asco Joucomatic's designers and engineers into a single building, allowing us to offer a complete service from one location".

"Our Skelmersdale head office is only an hour away and we have installed the very latest intranet systems as well as telephone switchboards to streamline all communications between the two sites".

"The high-tech facility is part of a new development here at the Enterprise Way business park, giving us plenty of scope for expansion and, being less than 5 minutes away from the M6 motorway, allows us to have highly customised systems assembled and distributed faster than before".

"The design and assembly of high performance pneumatic control systems has been a growth area for Asco Joucomatic both here in the UK and abroad", Serkumian continues.

"For example, at the new site we are currently assembling products ranging from ATEX certified control cabinets for Indian oil refineries, to actuator systems for security doors in your local bank".

"We have the capacity to produce a wide range of customised manifolds and distribution islands, while integrating the very latest electronic solenoid valves, proportional valves and actuators into fieldbus compatible systems".

The main beneficiaries of the new site will be systems suppliers and customers in the processing industries, who require specialist systems to be designed and supplied for both small and large production runs.

Onsite Asco Joucomatic development teams are committed to working closely with customer' s engineers or designing complete plug and play systems supplied for a broad range of application requirements.

In-house engineering facilities, in combination with close proximity to the motorway network means systems are also available on shorter lead times.
