Wearplate supplied by Ace Arc has been designed to meet the arduous operating conditions encountered in the quarrying, construction and mining industries, but is also suitable for many general uses
Novel composite improves prototyping performance
Accelerated Technologies can now produce rapid prototypes in a new, ceramic-filled material for stereolithography.
It is non-flammable, biodegradable and will not create fume hazards, making it friendly to both user and the environment.
The formulation also provides short term protection against corrosion, but does not contain silicone so that painting can be undertaken without further surface treatment.
Enviro-weld is dispensed with a trigger spray and a light misting of the workpiece is all that is required prior to welding.
It provides improved performance when working into corners and will not flash-off even on long runs.
The incidence of puddling or capillary action between the joints, which can lead to weld porosity, is also eliminated when correctly applied.
The economical thin film application is sufficient to reduce the adhesion of weld spatter, so that it can be easily removed with wire brushing or light scraping.
The dressing procedure after welding is minimised, eliminating the need for grinding and saving considerable production time overall.
The anti-spatter liquid can be supplied in seven container sizes from 500ml to 1000 litres.
Refillable one litre size bottles are all equipped with trigger sprays, which provides the most effective form of application.
This also ensures the full use of Enviro-weld without waste, unlike aerosols where the container contents can comprise up to 30% propellant which itself can be a harmful solvent.
Inquires are welcomed from engineering distributors interested in the product which has considerable potential for sales growth against less effective, more expensive and environmentally hazardous alternatives.
